Funky Fairing

Our pal Jason picked up this wild old fairing a couple weeks ago, and I figured it deserves a post; this thing is damn cool!

Dynamite Mirrors

Here's two of "The Wing" ones I've been able to collect.  The one on the left was never even used.  I still need a chrome-backed one...
The ever-elusive "Red Baron" mirror.  I've never come across one for sale yet; besides this set on ebay last night.  Too bad the auction was ended early for a cool $500!

Parts for Parts Sake

Ken's Utah score looks fun.
I've been fiending for one of these kicker pedals, but due to insane prices on original HD ones, this repop will have to do for now.  The quality of it is seriously awesome though.

Clear Derby

Until I find myself an entire clear primary cover, this cool piece will do.  I have the matching inspection cover, but I like my mids too much to mess with that.  (Man, the flash really brings out all the rust and oil!)

My Franks

The regular one I have, has old school flame stitching on one of the seats and luckily came with the 12" sissy bar instead of the other 9" one that was available.  This one was meant for a big twin Harley, but someone along the line "modified" and fucked it up a little to mount it on a Sportster, so Ken is currently bringing this beauty back to its original glory so I can get going on my shovel's winter makeover.

This one is my prismic Crazy Frank, the wilder angular version of these self-supporting fenders.  I'm guessing these didn't sell very well because I have never even seen a picture of one, other than the original ads.  Somehow the stars aligned and I managed to score this ultra-rare piece of chopper history.  I'm in the process of sanding and fixing up the previous molding attempt on it.  These came with all the welds exposed and required some molding to give them a smooth look before priming and painting. Frank on!

Crazy Frank

For some reason I'm obsessed with these fenders.  They're just one of the coolest
looks possible for a swingarm bike.
