A Far-Out Good Time! Get ready to ride into another dimension as Strange Days Motorcycle Festival returns to the scenic mountains of upstate New York! From July 11-13, 2025, this grassroots celebration of motorcycles, music, and wild vibes will have you all revved up and ready to unwind! ​ Whether you're here for the custom choppers, music, people-watching, or the intoxicating energy of like-minded free spirits, Strange Days is the ultimate summer escape for riders, dreamers, and hooligans alike. Bring your tent, your bike, and your good vibes, and join us in celebrating 10 years of Strange Days!

 

Schedule of Events

Friday, July 11 – Opening Day
12:00 PM – Gates open

·        Vendor load-in and bike-show staging

6:00 PM – 12:00 AM – Live music

·        Wall of Death shows throughout the evening

Saturday, July 12 – Main Event
10:00 AM – Moto races, dirt drags, barrel racing
11:00 AM – Bike-show setup at main stage

·        Vendor and swap-meet setup

12:00 PM – Live Music, bike show, and vendors open

·        Wall of Death shows all day / night

·        Rodeo games: slow race, hot-dog-on-a-rope, plank ride

7:00 PM – Awards ceremony and Bike giveaway
8:00 PM –  Live music continues to late

Sunday, July 13 – Wrap-Up
Morning breakfast service available
Attendee pack-out and departure
6:00 PM – Gates close

Passes include access to New York Off-Road Park riding trails all weekend!!

Riders must wear a helmet at all times.

Food trucks and beverages will be available all weekend. Showers available on site for a fee.

This is a rain or shine event, ticket sales are final and there will be no refunds. If it rains, we play in the mud!

With the return of Strange Days this year, you might be wondering, what about the giveaway bike?!

Ladies and germs, I’d like to introduce the Strange Days 10 giveaway bike, “Sweet Cheeks.” This custom 1980 Shovelhead is built in the spirit of what Strange Days is all about: long distance riding and camping! Inspired by the long-haul, mile-munching bikes that @joepanhead1313_archives and his friends rode in the past, Sweet Cheeks is the bike to carry everything you need with plenty of fuel, pullback handlebars and a comfortable seat for that lazy-boy feel while jamming down the highway.

Unfortunate News

It's with heavy hearts that we are officially announcing that Strange Days 10 - 2020 is canceled due to all of the unforeseen circumstances, and uncertain times in this crazy world right now.  We apologize for the last minute decision, but we held out as long as we could.  We are just unable to pull the permits for the venue and town; let alone all of the other strict regulations / limitations we didn't even get far enough to get into.  But hey, everything happens for a reason.  We know a lot of people had questions about this year's show, and you've probably already read the news on the #strangedaysevent Instagram, but we like to keep the blog platform going strong too. 

We just want to give a huge thanks to anyone that has ever supported the show through the years, friends, family, volunteers, BANDS, crew, and Retrofit Cycle Works for building (what was supposed to be this year's giveaway shovelhead, but will be won by someone at some point!).  This does not mean the end of Strange Days, so keep your eyes and ears open for updates on the future date / location of Strange Days 10; it will certainly be worth the wait!  Stay safe and healthy out there friends.

Big News!!!

The 2020 - Strange Days 10 giveaway bike will be a mile-munching shovelhead chopper built by none other than the Retrofit Cycle Works boys!!!  We are proud to call these insanely talented guys our friends, and they were there when Strange Days was just some crazy idea; and they supported it wholeheartedly!  Thanks Cal, Joe, and Benny!

Here's what they had to say:  "BIG NEWS!!  We're proud to officially announce that we will be building the giveaway bike for Strange Days 10!  For the 10th anniversary, we're going back to the roots of the event and building the ultimate road trip chopper.  The concept sketch was done by @joepanhead1313.  We have some other surprises in store for this build, so stay tuned.  Next July one lucky winner will be taking this shovelhead home!" - @retrofitcycleworks
