The Tingler Is Finished! Come Win This Bike At Strange Days Next Weekend!

The Tingler is finished! It has been another long process and thousands of hours to bring this old chopper new life. Special thanks to Matt Rush for rebuilding the motor, Carl Miller for the seat work, Bob of Toon Town for the paint. Yours truly, Ben, and Joe did the fab work. Big thanks to Ken and Chris to let us work on this bike for Strange Days again. It takes a village to build a chopper!

Here's quick recap of the whole build process. Our goal was to build a chopped Sportster that utilized as much original Sportster parts as possible.

This is what we started with back in November/December.

Matt Rush did an amazing job bringing this tired motor back to life.

Test and tune! This bike absolutely rips!

Come win this bike at Strange Days this weekend, July 11,12,13!!!! For more details on how, visit www.strangedaysevent.blogspot.com

More Tingler!

Here's a couple more shots from the mock-up day when our buddy Matt, of Rush Cycles, brought over the freshened up ironhead motor he generously helped us out with.  The frame, tins, and oil tank are out for paint from Toon Town Bob as we speak.  This one's gonna be tough to give away!  Scroll down a couple posts to check out some more in-depth progress photos from Cal.  Definitely can't thank Cal, Joe, and Benny of Retrofit enough for their phenomenal fab work and help / inspiration with the show.  Once again, Visionary Cycle Products donated the gorgeous 21" aluminum front wheel, Buchanan helped out with some quality stainless spokes, and our go-to local shop guy, Ed at Unique Cycle, generously threw a 21" Speedmaster, tube, strap, and rear brake shoes our way to top it off!  This is not one to be missed!

Willis has been doing it right and ripping the Cocaine Bandit around like crazy, ever since he won it at Strange Days 2; right on!!!
Pipe fitment.
Joe's Pan, "Mary Jane."  Chopperfection.
Ken and Cal's trusty steeds.
Stay tuned, paint is on the way!
