STRANGE DAYS is a vintage motorcycle show, camp-out, races, live music festival, and all around party! This year's show, Strange Days 10, is unfortunately canceled for the time being due to all of the unforeseen circumstances that are out of our hands going on in this crazy world today. Stay tuned for updates on when the show will be rescheduled for.

To Hell With Tomorrow, Our Bag Is Today

After hitting the local bike night, tonight should be fun with some polishing, chopper movies, and some devil in a bottle.  I was going to sell one of the Finch lights, keep one, and make some profit, but there's no way I can part with one and separate the pair.
Joe gave us a little history on this picture tonight, and man it doesn't get any fuckin cooler, let me tell ya!
Cal's just carrying on family tradition like a pro, and man his Sportster rules!
Get weird.

Born Free Universal Rigid

I saw this Born Free 3 pic on the Dice blog, http://dicemagazine.blogspot.com/.  See the fender on that gorgeous gray pan?  It's the universal rigid Crazy Frank flat fender!  Man, you never ever see these things, and to see one used on such a beautiful build, instead of on a shelf, made my day.  That seat really is perfect too.  Damn, fuckin cool shit.  I need some more pictures of this bike; if anyone has any info or pics, hit me up: dripshovel@gmail.com

Good Shit Going Down...

First off, things are coming together on the narrowed 41mm front end.  Just have to get the internals and figure out a headlight setup and what type of spacing will be required on the wheel.  Gotta love those '49-only top caps.  Ken's also got some 4" over 35mm tubes in the works for his shovel.
Out of nowhere, Cal's ironhead turned into a '70's dream this weekend!  It's actually really crazy that he had the tank, I had the fender, we realized it, and reunited these two the way they were meant to be!
Definitely will be more info on this topic here:  http://captcals.blogspot.com/
If anyone's feelin' strange and gets an urge, they can be super cool and print out this 8x10 flyer!
Not really sure why I think Rip Van Winkle is so cool.
Great weekend once again, and Strange Days is just over one month away!

Rhinebeck Swap #2

This old knuck had to be my favorite bike of the weekend; perfect in every way.
Sounded as good as it looks cruising by.
Evel stunts.

I did pretty well on the parts side of things, but the pair of old Finch pawn lights were my main score.
Overall this weekend was a fuckin blast.  Our bikes did not let us down, we drank enough for a month, people hit jumps, and the rain held out for the ride home.  Couldn't ask for more.  It's always good seeing familiar faces, hanging with friends, and making new ones.  Check these good dudes out:  http://paradisechoppers.com/

Rhinebeck AMCA Swap 2011

Patty sitting on her first big twin while waiting for Ken to get his bike fixed and arrive, so we could hit the road.
The ride there was beautiful and the bikes ran good; then we met up with the early crew, set up camp, got the beers flowing, and started rummaging through parts!
Billy rolled in with some carb troubles on his Ironhead, but they were quickly taken care of with all the readily available parts.  This would prove to be minor compared to his stunt later in the night...
The bikes love socializing.
Gorgeous knuckle chop built back in the day.
Ken's shovel parked in the chopper show.

Strange Happenings

Topher's goin' at it!  313 Paint is rockin' and rollin' on the raffle tank, and I can't wait to see what's in store for our eyes and minds when this thing's done!
I scored these little beauties to top off my dream front end.

Two awesome bands that are booked so far for Stange Days:  Uncle Shoehorn, and Meat Planet.  This is guaranteed to be a great time.
