Congrats 2015 Award Winners

The best antique award went to John Zanetti and his meticulously restored 1926 Harley JD.

The best Indian award was a special one that I hand made.  It ended up matching the color combo perfectly on Bruce's gorgeous '48 Chief with a way-early aftermarket electric start!

The pick for best British bike was tough, but Ron's 1950 race-ready Triumph pre-unit; complete with reversed cylinder heads and drag slick took the cake.

Jason from Iowa defended his Long-Haul title, and rode the furthest distance to Strange Days two years in a row.

 

The best Jap bike honors went to Cody Bush and his highly modified Kawasaki KZ chop that's just full of technical intricacies. 

The toughest award to narrow down at Strange Days is the best chopper.  Murphy's 1950 panhead chopper squeaked out the win with its undeniably classic look and stance.

The well-deserved best rat bike award was a long time comin' for Silent John and his 45" flathead chop; who was also a crowd pleaser by being the only guy who rode up to accept it!

Almost as tough to choose as the best chopper award, is the best HD award.  Gizzy's 1955 panhead sealed the deal with it's period accessories and some of the coolest patina'd paint I've ever seen.

It was Jay Hornyak's last weekend as a single man, so obviously he had to go home with the Dirty Biker Bachelor award.

Congrats to all the award winners this year!  There was an overwhelming amount of insane bikes everywhere you'd turn.  Huge thanks to the talented Brett Sauder for whipping up those amazing wooden trophies.  We forgot the youngest rider award...

Join us on a spiritual and mechanical journey! STRANGE DAYS is an annual vintage motorcycle show, camp-out, live music festival, swap meet, and all around party that takes place in the mountains of northern NJ. The official dates for Strange Days 5 are July 10th - 12th 2015!
