New Tanks

I picked up these tanks today for sale locally and for an awesome price  No I'm not gonna use a Sporty or Wassel tank, sue me!  My unsightly, beat up, dented 5 gallon fatbobs are finally on their way out.  In with these cool 3.5 gallon split tanks.  I'll still get some decent mileage out of them and I don't have to grind off the mounts on my frame.  I love the old paint, and have a nice blue swirl Chicago pedal that will go perfectly.
The Frank will have to be painted to match.

My New Pipes

I've been wanting these stock FX / Super Glide pipes for awhile and finally scored a set for cheap.  They look marvelous and I finally got rid of my stupid drag pipes that someone painted black.  Now I just have to figure out an upswept muffler setup and I'll be rolling in style!  More funky parts will be making their way onto the shovel soon.

CB400T

My buddy had these old pictures of me and my '78 CB400.  I liked it because it was the twin, not the four.  All the parts for it kind of just came together.  The seat, sissy bar, and twisted struts were ebay scores, we made the pipes from Napa pieces, and the rear fender was Ken's front fender off his Sportster.  Ken also donated the drum front wheel off of his CB360.  That coffin tank was painted black when I bought it, but after some sanding I discovered that beautiful confederate flag paintjob that it had, probably done in the '70's.  Pretty cool to look back at this stuff.  I still have the bike but it's not working order right now; big twins took over my life!
Riding to skate.

Jon trying her out.

Fun times on that thing.

shovel chop

So my red shovel is getting a make over this winter and it just puts a smile on my face, from my pictures you might ask why dont i just hardtail the frame i have already but when you look close its actually an aftermarket fxr frame from santee ment to look like an fxe frame, and now your saying why would you want to hardtail one of harleys best handling motorcycles but that frame design doesnt handle like the original triangle harley frame and has bad vibration and just limted to what you can do with the whole floating assembly so chop it pussy. So i picked up this paughco frame from a garage sale for cheap and then bought the hardtail from custom chrome and started the fun!! since the cheap hardtail is ment for an og harley frame it was a bitch to fit right, to wide up top and the height was about half inch to short but nothing some heat and bending cant fix haaaa!! after 10 hrs of measuring and fitting she was tacked on and looking nice and straight. The bottom legs of the frame rail are just butted against the frame, couldnt plug weld it cause the paughco is solid round stock to the seat post, so capt cal and his pops gave me the idea to replace the the 2inch rectangle stock that supports the rear trans mount with a wider one that will go past the seam and then cap the tubing and just weld it all up as one nice solid peice. Now im on the road for six weeks so this how far i got with her before i left..... stay tuned in 2 months for the rest of the project!!!

Old MC Supply Lights

Cool ass lights that were available back in the day for $3 each!  Now I've seen single ones go for $250+.  I have a couple sets including the lions and eagles, but I've never even seen the indian or skull ones.  I've read that they were offered in the late '60's but it's pretty impossible to find any real info on these.

I'll be selling an awesome NOS pair of MC Supply eagle lights in their original box and packaging in the near future if anyone is interested.  These things are getting really tough to find, so shoot me an email if you're interested, otherwise off to egay they go!  dripshovel@gmail.com
