STRANGE DAYS is a vintage motorcycle show, camp-out, races, live music festival, and all around party! This year's show, Strange Days 10, is unfortunately canceled for the time being due to all of the unforeseen circumstances that are out of our hands going on in this crazy world today. Stay tuned for updates on when the show will be rescheduled for.

Voodoo Child Update!

It may not look like much but more progress has been made. Our good buddy Carl is re-upholstering the seat to its former glory (photos to post when we get them!). Hours upon hours of sanding and so much bondo dust has been inhaled the past few weeks by Ben and I. We are not nearly putting on as much as what was originally on the bike but just enough to smooth things out. Can't wait to see what Bob at Toontown Paint has in store!

Just some final fitment checks....
A mock up engine was placed in the frame so Ben could make one last set of mounting brackets for the right side cover to house the switches. You can also see how we shaved the rear strut mounts compared to how they use to just "dead end"

More to come!

Ride To Skate 7

Chromed '48.
Home, after a great day despite the dreary weather.  Nothing better than a bunch of bikes and a good buzz.

Funky Fairing

Our pal Jason picked up this wild old fairing a couple weeks ago, and I figured it deserves a post; this thing is damn cool!

I personally know nothing about Twitter, but Jamie started up an account for the Rickey Farm; check it out and journey well!  https://twitter.com/RickeyFarm

Thanks Lowbrow!

Lowbrow Customs came through again this year and hooked us up with an awesome single cap axed alien style tank to give away!  And it gets better; the lucky winner won't be getting a bare metal tank.  Fred from Fulton Paint Works was generous enough to offer up one of his wild paint jobs on it!  You must have seen his work by now (if not, check it out: http://fultonpaintworks.blogspot.com/ )  and it's pretty awesome to say the least.  Things are getting exciting!

Thanks Biltwell!

Biltwell hooked us up with some awesome shit to give away again this year! http://www.biltwellinc.com/
The 1" throttle control for the "Voodoo Child."

Lookin' For A Long One...

...Springer that is...something about 40" from the bottom of the neck.  Preferably 1" neck.  Anyone have one for a decent price, hit me up dripshovel@gmail.com

More VooDoo Child Progress!

Its been an insane past few weeks. I'm on my two feet again and my foot is pretty much healed up. Thanks for all the emails and notes guys! Had a film festival to attend in Brooklyn. I picked up a new bike already (more on that later.) And my dad, ben and myself are trying to get back on track for the Strange Days build.

We finally have the battery box/coil mounts made. It was pretty easy getting everything to mount in the swing arm because of the 4" extension. It was just a matter of making some clean mounts.

Ben and my dad got the fork stops figured out for the springer.
Seat pan mounts and tank mounts are complete.

Its all taken apart now for some mud work on the frame to smooth her back out to her '70s glory. We should be ready for paint and chrome in a few weeks!
