Strange Days 3 Chopper Winner!!!

Sean London from Philly was the lucky winner of our giveaway bike this year; a show stopping 1972 Yamaha XS650 chopper "The Voodoo Child" built by our extremely generous friends Cal, Joe, & Benny at Retrofit.  Bob at Toon Town Paint executed the amazing paint job on this wild ride.  Seeing how pumped Sean was to win this bike was the best part of the whole show, congrats again man!  Hopefully we get to ride with this guy in the near future!

Just want to thank everyone that braved the heat and the threat of storms to come out and party with us this weekend!  It was a great turnout and seriously a blast as usual.  Things went super smooth, and Sean from Philly won himself an insane chopper!  So many laughs and memorable moments were crammed into the past few days that felt by like they flew by in a few minutes.  

Thanks again to all the bands that showed up and cranked some awesome tunes for us, our buddies for helping us out with the show / cleanup, our friends Retrofit for building the bike, anyone that came out to vend, Bob at Toon Town for the insane paint, Carl Miller for the seats, Fulton Paint Works for the wild raffle tank, PBR for the brews, Boss Hawg  Smokers for the delicious BBQ, Jamie Rickey for the gorgeous land, The Vernon Inn for the pre-party, everyone else for the sponsorship giveaways, and of course I'm probably forgetting a bunch of people; it wouldn't be possible without all these great people.

Chris finished up banner for the stage, trophies and trophy tree are looking good. Rain or shine the party will go on folks. The 1972 Yamaha xs650 chopper will be giving away at 7:30 pm Saturday. Rain or Shine.

The Voodoo Child is Finished!

The Voodoo Child is finished and sitting pretty! I couldn't be happier with how this bike turned out. I really want to say thanks to my ol'man, Ben, Ken, and Chris, Carl, and Bob for making this happen. We really brought new life to this ol'chop and can't wait to see what new adventures lie ahead for it. I'm gonna miss it for sure...Someone is going to be real lucky Saturday night!  Mission Statement:
Strange Days is a motorcycle get together for like minded chopper enthusiasts. It also takes place at a man's private property who is being kind enough to have us; so respect for his land is important. This is purely about the love of bikes, good tunes, and just having a fun time. We would love for everyone to join us, and just keep it peaceful! So please no fireworks, attitudes, or fights. We're encouraging a No Colors policy to help ensure this. No offense or disrespect to anyone, we just want to keep it low key, safe, and to be able to to do it again! Much thanks!

More Voodoo Child Progress!

Sunday we started re-assembly! Ken and Carl stopped by to give us a hand. Carl did an awesome job replicating the old seats.

 By the end of the night it looks like a motorcycle again!

 I took a few more photos today in better light. Its awesome how much this paint changes from day to night. You just have to see it in person!
